Peter is an African Spurred Tortoise we have had since he was a baby (10 years). He is solitary but has been handled fairly frequently by humans. We do not let him roam freely throughout the home but he does like to be in a room with people and he likes to look out the window. He eats kale, carrots and the occasional watermelon. We would like to see him in a larger space and a more suitable environment as he grows. We will send tank, heat source, and any other accessories we have free of charge.
