We took in an abandoned pup 5 years ago and she has been a great dog but in the last couple of years she has been very protective of me and on occasion has ben biting my daughter, only when I am around her. When my daughter is alone with her, she has not bitten or shown aggression towards her and she has never bitten me or tried. We are heartbroken but have to re-home her.
