Alaqua founder and CEO Laurie Hood

Alaqua is excited to introduce Animoré Magazine to deepen its connection with the community and supporters. The mission of Animoré aligns with Alaqua’s broader goal of transforming how animals are treated and respected. The magazine aims to educate, inspire, and engage readers in Alaqua’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and offer sanctuary to animals in need. It also seeks to raise awareness about the importance of humane treatment for all living creatures, fostering a stronger connection between animals and humans.

The magazine serves as a platform to showcase the incredible work at Alaqua Animal Refuge, including rescues, rehabilitation stories and education on animal welfare. It allows Alaqua to share stories that inspire compassion and action while expanding its mission of advocating for and protecting animals.

Animoré will be published quarterly, offering seasonal insights, updates and stories from Alaqua, helping readers stay informed on the refuge’s activities throughout the year.
