How to Adopt a Horse
The bond between a horse and its person is special, and deep. We do our best to honor that relationship by learning as much about you and your needs at the very start of our conversation. Please review our available horses below and fill out the adoption form, which is available on each horse’s individual profile page to fill out a general equine adoption application, which gets the ball rolling.
You should know: Adopted horses remain the property of Alaqua for 12 months, and then a transfer agreement is signed by both parties. Adopters may not breed, race, sell or give away the adopted horse. There may be additional requirements at discretion of Alaqua.
Please note that equine meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only once an application has been reviewed.
