I adopted this beautiful girl Luna about two years ago, and she’s been such a loving part of our family ever since. She’s around 3 years old, spayed. She’s such a sweet, smart dog (part cattle dog for sure) and has always been great with other dogs, cats, and kids. But ever since we brought home our newest baby two months ago, she’s been struggling to adjust. She’s started getting into trash cans, chewing up toys, and even nipped at me and my toddler. I’ve tried everything, more exercise, adding veggies and protein to her meals (because I thought maybe she was looking for more nutrition), buying new toys and bones, but nothing has helped calm her down. I truly believe it’s jealousy and stress from all the changes at home, but with two little ones, I just can’t give her the time and attention she needs right now. It kills me to admit that, because she really is a good dog. She just needs someone who can focus on her and help her through this
