How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
The timing of this project could not have been more meaningful. Shortly after construction of the Bunny Bungalow was completed, we responded to a devastating cruelty case in which we rescued 85 animals, including 11 rabbits. Since arriving at their temporary home, two of those rabbits have given birth to litters, making the need for safe, appropriate housing even more urgent.
