As a Rescue Starter, your gift provides more than a full bowl. It covers a month of nourishing meals, comfort, and care for a rescued dog or cat waiting for their forever home.
Becoming a Guardian not only supports healing that lasts, it helps to provide medications for an animal battling infection, arthritis, seizures and other medical conditions on their journey to recovery.
As a Protector, your generosity provides a month’s worth of nutritious feed for a rescued horse, donkey, pig, goat, sheep or other farm animal as they begin their second chance.
Not only does a Champion provide a path forward, it carries one rescued animal through the critical days following specialized medical treatment, providing comfort, monitoring, and compassionate care throughout the healing process.
Joining the Society as a Legacy Rescuer not only provides hope, it supports the critical intake exams and emergency medical care that give rescued animals from dire situations their first chance to heal.

How will my gift be utilized?
Your monthly gift provides nourishing food, safe shelter, medical care, and enrichment for animals in our care today—and helps ensure we’re ready to say YES when the next animal needs us most.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! Alaqua Animal Refuge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so your Rescuer Society contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Each January, we’ll email you an annual giving statement reflecting your contributions from the previous calendar year, making it easy to have everything you need come tax time.
Can I change my giving amount?
Absolutely. If you created an account when you joined the Rescuer Society, simply log in at any time to update your monthly gift. If you didn’t create an account, just email us at rescuer@alaqua.org and we’ll be happy to make the change for you.
Can I cancel my Rescuer Society Membership at any time?
