Hi everyone, I’m looking for a responsible, loving home for a young female puppy named Athena. She came into our care temporarily a couple of months ago, but unfortunately her original owner has abandoned her. We already have 2 dogs of our own, a baby coming in a few weeks and we are moving and no longer able to keep her. Athena is about 6 months old. She is very sweet and affectionate. She is not aggressive at all but is very high energy and likes to jump. She gets along great with other dogs but will dominate the food if she can, so we’ve been feeding her separately. She was not house or behavior trained at all when we got her and been working on potty/crate training and she has improved greatly. She only goes on a pad if she can’t hold it and stays in the yard without a leash. She needs a lot of love, attention, affection structure and consistent training and a yard. Because we have a baby on the way and safety is our priority, we need to find her a better-suited home where she can express herself and thrive. Our goal is to make sure she goes somewhere happy, healthy, safe and stable where she can get the love, support time and guidance she needs.
