The irony of one of our recent arrivals is uncanny during this Thanksgiving week. “Gratitude” arrived on a week notorious for families filling their bellies and being thankful for being able to do so, but his life has been far from one deserving of thanks. Literally a walking skeleton, this sweet dog still wags his tail and has a strong will to survive. He is now safe and on a long road to recovery at Alaqua Animal Refuge.
