Everyone meet Hank. 🐶 He is such a special pup! He’s roughly 5 months old! We were fostering him and hopeful to keep him but he’s not a good fit in our home unfortunately. We’ve had him for just under two months. He is utd on all shots but needs one more round in the next week or so. We do have an appointment set up for his neutering and will gladly cover that for whoever adopts him. Some fun things about him: He loves car rides, playing at the lake, long walks & sleeping. He’s fully potty trained. Crate trained to sleep at night. Knows basic commands. Listens relatively well & protective of his people. Some things that are slightly concerning to us only because we have a 1.5 yr old child: He’s a little protective over his food. We just feed him on his crate to avoid any kind of issues. He also has started resource guarding random objects from me. He has never done it towards my husband or child but with my toddler having toys all over it just concerns me. He also isn’t sure of all dogs, he doesn’t mind my neighbors dog, or dogs we see on casual walks but when we took him to tractor supply for shots he wasn’t fond of the other pups. It could have just overstimulated him. We aren’t sure. I think he would do best with a family that has older children & if there is other animals they’re introduced slowly. He’s very smart & learns quickly! I have worked with him extremely hard so saying goodbye to him has broken my heart.. but since he is still young we are hopeful he will find the best home for him! Not neutered, is vaccinated.
