Red Heeler (Red Cattle Dog, Chips, rescue dog from Knoxville, TN. Got him 8 months ago from daughter, a foster mom for Young-Williams Animal Cent. She had him for about 3 months with no approp adoption requests. Very smart dog, knows various commands. Has the usual traits of breed, very loyal and protective of owners person and property. Once he sees stranger is no threat, very friendly. Prefers to be an only dog, and needs to have his person or people around. Loves outside, a farm/large fenced yd. would be great. Love him but I live alone and travel
