Cupid was part of a large litter of puppies recently rescued. Half the size of her litter mates, Cupid’s tiny size indicated that she was obviously the runt, but a medical exam discovered something far more serious.
Cupid suffers from a heart defect called Patent Ductus Arteriosus and will need surgery to save her life and repair her broken heart.
