Marsha Finds Refuge
A horse seized in a neighboring county is now under the care of Alaqua Animal Refuge. Marsha, a 15 year old mare, was living in a dirt paddock without food or access to clean water. Recovery for a horse in a condition as severe as hers will be a slow process. Alaqua staff veterinarian, Dr. Amy Williams, is monitoring her closely and we are doing everything we can to give her a second chance at life. Once recovered, this sweet horse will be placed up for adoption.
